What on earth am i doing watching(Listening) to the one hour Eastender special tonight. I have never had the misfortune to endure the most boring piece of TV ever. How this total piece of rubbish was voted best soap drama i will never know. Was never the same when Pete(Treacle) beale left. Ps Can Paulines dog not walk anywhere.

Why not watch something on the other 3 channels then...or the other 500 channels if you have Sky/Cable?

the good lady wife insists on never missing an episode of this, and since I can't escape it with being accused of not wanting to spend time with her, I watch it just for the ridiculousness of it. The only time I've seen worse acting was when I watched Pet Semetary

And no, spit the dog can't walk anywhere, he's just a puppet !

Nobody MAKES anyone whatch anything on tv. My husband hates all the soaps & I don`t like his taste in programmes. We compromise. I record all my soaps & watch them at a convenient time for me. He normally watches his progammes, I either read or go on pc. Everyone`s happy. Oh, if there are 2 programes clashing, the spare video gets used.
