Thanks for your answer. I'm not sure whether it's the answer BBC7 expect to their competition - they mention "the first full day of broadcasting" but the launch programme presented by Paul Merton didn't start until 8:00pm on 15 December 2002. Still, in the absence of any other information, I may as well send it in.
