Yes he is, he doesn't broadcast it as such but he is gay and has never denied being so when asked, prefers to keep his 'business' private, fair one.

Yup ~ Nigel Martin-Smith, and Bros/East17 manager Tom Watson are also gay..as is/was Tam Paton (Bay City Rollers manager) ;o)
