What did you make of this film if you have seen it?

Hi....watched this the other day......what a film!!!!! I found it very thought provoking....mainly because I actually felt sorry for HIM. Wrong I know, but apparently my sister-in-law felt the same.....very strange. I also thought it could have done with a little more explanation..... Did she know the murdered girl? What was her actual family background? Because let's face it....she was far from 'normal' herself. I 'enjoyed' it though....if that's the right word!
