Hey oh my goodness seen the descent 2 months ago and even watcing it with my friend it was so scary it has you by the edge of your seat absolutely brilliant and u should watch it as long as you have no heart problems lol honestly very very good!! Leah

it grows on you.ive seen it twice and enjoyed it much more the 2nd time.some very good/scary moments.

It has a few bits in it that make you jump.

Otherwise it's a hackneyed, see it coming, boring as paint drying, bog standard film.

(In my opinion obviously, some people really rate it!)

I thought it was a good film. I won't spoil it, but the bit with the night vision carmera! Argh!

i love horror films, epsically realistic one (28 days later for example). Slasher movies are good but dont really scare me. The descent did freak me out a bit. Great film too. Watch it alone and in the dark for added effect.

It wasn't scary to the point that you should avoid it. It wasn't scary to the point that you need someone to hold on to (although watching ANY movie with someone is always preferred). It wasn't scary to the point that you will need to change your underwear at any point during or after the movie. It wasn't scary to the point that you will pierce someone's eardrum with your screams of despair. It wasn't scary enough to be afraid to turn the light out at the end of the day.

It may make you jump once. It may make you think "Good make up effects". It may make you think "I'm glad I watched it but I won't again". It may make you think it's better than watching Celeb Big Bro.

Thanks for your answers! Think I'll watch it with someone. I am a bit of a wimp with watching scary films on my own. I don't usually buy films I've never seen but I had heard good stuff about it.
