Thought it was ok. made me feel old though!

Was the main lad, Tony, that young lad from the Hugh Grant film, About A Boy? Looks so familiar!

do u no what i was thinking that i thought it was him from about a boy!! thanks for that lol
Yes it is him. I watched about 1 minute of it and turned it off!! I thought the acting was awful!!!
I thought the Harry Enfield part was appalling. Why did he have to swear all the time...is it for a reaction from the 13-20 year olds its aimed at?

I will not watch again, poor acting, poorly written drivel.
i loved it, i watched the first episode online from sunday when they put clips up on myspace, and then again last night on E4, and i have to say that i was suprised by it, because i have never gotten into 'shameless'. But i thoroughly enjoyed it, and will be watching it again next week.
i dont know why people are saying the acting is terrible, i thought it was good.. i think it is because it's not like The Oc that the acting appears bad, but its more realistic than that. They are only about 17 years old, and just acting probably how they do in real life, so i think its wrong to say that its badly acted.
Both me and my mum thought it was funny.
I thought it was good and pretty funny. A lot of it was filmed in Southville too, so nice to see my old stomping ground. I thought it felt a litttle awkward to see kids gettting all horny, but its only how you are at that age I spose.
not bad better than some of the tripe on.
