What actors have had bizarre appearances elsewhere? After finding out ( from this site ) that the actor who played 'Butch' Dingle in Emmerdale was the voice of Gerry Adams during the period where his voice was not allowed to be broadcast , I was wondering if there are any other strange cameos by actors out there?

I know ,I know , A couple of weeks ago the actor who plays Brian Aldridge in the Archers was on Radio 4 talking about his life. He was ( and then did the voice) WORDY the little animated character in the schools programme 'Look and Read'. If you watched any Tv at all in Junior school in the 80's /90's you will probably remember him.

The actor Scatman Crothers that was in the movie "The Shining" did the voice for Hong Kong phoey and Jon Pertwee did the voice of Spotty in the Superted cartoons
