Pop Idol.

I'm confused. I think it is safe to say that Pop Idol isn't live (The results are though) but, when is it actually filmed? Is it during the day on Saturday?

It is recorded on Wednesday afternoon. Quite why it is not live on the Saturday is anyones guess? Dave

Just as well it's not live(although it would be better) if you saw saturday nights episode then you will know why.1 of the mothers swore about the judges and it got bleeped out.However i always thought the show was recorded on earlier on in the day.It's a strange process, film the show on wednesday night and then get them to wear their outfits again for the saturday show.
