i have to disagree mattk, any man worth his salt wont sit there and let some jumped up, unfunny berk (trying so hard not to swear here!) take the p*** out of his wife, a jokes a joke and all that but i dont believe you should be invited onto a show only to have your wife insulted. I think Preston did the very best thing he could have. I personally wish he had stayed around and thumped him! I cant bear that presenter! He's not at all funny, has no charisma or charm and looks a proper pillock to boot!

I never thought I'd find myself going all dewy-eyed and nostalgic over Mark Lamarr. Then that unfunny tousle-haired pillock takes over and the rest, as they say, is history. I just hope that if Sir Bill Bailey ever leaves, they'll do the decent thing and pull the plug. There are few things in comedy more sad than seeing a once great show limp on long after its talent has jumped ship.

I think I'll stick with the repeats from the Lamarr years on UK Gold or G2 or whatever it's called, thanks.
