I can live with the fact that we have a 'full house' on 'gay' scenes in the soaps. What's getting to me is the way ITV have to have their very own token 'comedian' who is utterly unfunny, with no discernable personal charisma, who has an eight-figure contract and as a result, gets prime-time exposure. the BBC has Patrick Kielty, and ITV have hit back with a winner - step forward .......Frank Skinner! A couple of guys who manage a bit of banter and cheek - in a lot less of a humorous, spontaneous and intelligent way than any of the men in my day to day life. No, don't understand the appeal myself!
Can't stand Patrick Kielty.............but find Fun Time Frankie very funny.
frank skinner is very funny i think, one of the classics was when he interviewed Britney Spears and gave her the slating she fully deserved. without her realising of course...
Personally, I'm quite glad to see how well Paddy Kielty's career has been faring recently. We in Northern Ireland have been trying to get him as far over the Irish Sea as possible for years now. Thanks for adopting him, England.
Just shows how subjective humour is! I think the Britney interview was just completely embarassing and not actually clever - she wasn't a challenge!
I always thought that Dave Allen would make a brilliant interviewer. I just wish he would make another series from Monday to Friday, with a double edition at the weekend!
