I read in the paper that this is the last series, don't really watch it myself, but there you go

Oh hold on! We still have one more series to look forward to. I think they'll show it in January next year. It can't have finished the way it did! Carrie and Big so have to end up together forever. And Samantha with that young nothing can't be the end of her romantic life. It's all worked out peachily for our Miranda - but we still can hope for Charlotte to finally have a baby.

The next one will be the last one though :o(

what happened was, they filmed about 20 episodes in one go, but have decided to get 2 series-worth out of it all and thank the lord for that, there are waaay too many loose ends for my liking, apart from Miranda and lovely Steve of course! I still think Carrie and Big should end up together, even if they don't get married - I definitely don't want her snogging bloody Mr Russian ballet dancer bloke any more! Ewwww!!!
