Just found out that he has died. I'll never forgive him for writing in one of newspaper columns who the murderer was in The Mousetrap. It had been running for nearly 40 years and he thought that enough justification for writing the article. I had booked a weekend in London and was going to see the play. I still went but it was such a let-down. I don't think his father would have ever done such a thing.

Didn't know he'd done that. Does the detective still come out at the end of the play and ask the audience not to tell anyone who the murderer is?

He did when I saw it, so I assume that it still happens.
