What may have been seen as acceptable, and funny, years ago, as in 'Love Thy Neighbour', 'Mind Your language' and so on, is now seen as offensive because it embraces thenotion of cultural and rcial stereotypes. Wold you appreciate our stereotype as a football thug with a shaved head and Swastika tattoos and no brain? That is how some nations see us, but we are simply not like that.
Jade's attitude was less what she said, than the venomous and aggresive way she said it - it was nasty, unprovoked and stupid.
That said, it has been blown out of all proportion by the media (our media that is), which is not affected by 'the small minded snobs who run the country' whom ever they may be.
