Elton John looky like

i saw the Elton looky-like on the Peter Kay/Proclaimers video , does this mean that Peter Kay had asked Elton to be in it but Elton said no? Frank Sidebottom managed to be there, and Rod Jane and Freddie, if they can find the time, what's Eltons problem tut.
he could have got a lift in in Postman Pat's van.

That wasn't the impression I got at all. I think Elton's look alike was there because he was Elton's look alike, not because Elton himself wouldn't appear. There were a lot of old forgotten faces (and ta for reminding me his name was sidebottom, cos I'd been racking my brains) and the guy who does Elton is something of a forgotten face too, so it fitted in with the video.

With the amount that Elton John does for charity I don't think you can criticise him for not appearing on Comic Relief.

Though I did hear that Postman Pat with giving 'Cannon & Ball' and 'The Krankies' a lift, and unfortunately there would have been no room left in the van for Elton and his ego :)

Becks was not there, nor was Saddam Hussein, who was also in the credits.There were loads more, but I can't remember them.
