Can someone please settle an argument between my boyfriend and I. He thinks that Vin's first name is pronounced Van. I thought it was Vin because its short for Vincent which is his real surname.

You are right, just checked on IMDB and Vin is indeed short for Vincent.

You are indeed correct. Tell your boyfriend it's pronounced Van.... if it's spelt VAN!

But 198x, names arent always pronounced how they are spelt!
Im not saying that is the case here, just could of been!
