Will the Auf Wiedersehn Pet remake feature the original line-up?

The new series will star Timothy Spall (Barry), Pat Roach (Bomber), Christopher Fairbank (Moxey), Tim Healy (Dennis), Jimmy Nail (Oz) and Kevin Whately (Neville). There is a new face, actor Noel Clarke, and one of the original members is missing.

The missing cast member is Gary Holton, who played Wayne, the London carpenter and serial womaniser of the team - Noel Clarke will play Wayne's son when the new series starts filming in the US. Gary Holton is best known as an actor, but enjoyed some success as a singer in the early seventies with London band The Heavy Metal Kids. The band were Heavy Metal in name only, taking their title from a William Burroughs novel.
