I can't remember the exact title, but if you don't know the answer yourself I may be able to help by jogging people's memories. I believe it was one of those Hammer House of Horrors films where five people get their futures' told by an enigmatic stranger. This may have occurred on a journey in a train carriage. Christopher Lee was an art critic who was made to look foolish by a man who had a chimp paint a picture which Lee hailed as brilliant. With his reputation in ruins, he ran the man over, amputating the hand in the process. Predictably the hand seemed to know where Lee lived and kept on attacking him even after being stabbed and burnt. The wax figure may have involved Peter Cushing as some sort of tailor who ended up trapped in a fire caused by the dummy. There was also stories involving an actor who wanted to keep his good looks (something to do with his face being steel covered with skin??) and something to do with a vengeful cat or possibly a triffid-like plant. And the train crash?... well all of the stories seemed to point to the deaths of those whose futures were being foretold. The last scene was where they got off the train at a deserted station and a newspaper drifted down bearing a headline of five people killed in a train crash. Hope this helps, then again, I may be thinking of a completely different film!
