does anyone remember the film 'crossroads' where the boy trades his soul with the devil to be able to play the guitar? any ideas where i can get it from?

Ry Cooder actually provided most of the slide guitar parts mimed by Ralph Machio (Karate Kid) but in this famous scene the devils player is the man who provides both parts of the guitar duel, and is Steve Vai....you can download either the whole film or just this scene on both WinMX and Kazaa.

In the duel, only the very end part for Ralph Machino is played by steve vai. the rest of his playing int he duel is done by ry cooder as mentioned.

Just found it on E Bay, but as ever, everyone puts RARE after the title and the price goes up to 20 odd quid. All depends on how desperate you are to see it i suppose
