C4 will be forced to make apologies for its handling over the race row that had the world glued to this year's Celebrity Big Brother. It escaped a fine but instead must make numerous apologies before its screening of this year's regular Big Brother. The channel broke the television Watchdog Ofcom's code by airing racist insults hurled at the Indian actress, Shilpa Shetty. What do you think? Have C4 really been punished hard enough? Or should we forgive and forget and get stuck into Big Brother 8?

C4 should be punished for showing ANY Big Brother and banned from ever broadcasting the show again.
Yeah, conveniently enough BB has hit the headlines just before the new series starts. Funny that.
Exactly what I was gonna say !
My skin crawls to think the next series of this is imminent.

I am totally and utterly perplexed how anyone could find this entertaining and whats even funnier is how deeply people get drawn in.wait for all the questions on here!!! I just hope they give it its own section.
C4 should be fined for showing big brother full stop. Or they should be made to contribute towards our television licenses. Grrr.
Well , I don' t entirely agree. What was said in CBB was racist , nasty and ugly , but it should be shown.
I don't believe in brushing things like these under the carpet, if they exist then let us see that they do. We now know what the perpetrators are really like as people (warts and all as it were). People like this exist in our society and Channel 4 was just holding up a mirror to that.
