'the marriage' 1986 with su pollard

in 1985/6? there was programme on the bbc called the marriage hosted by su pollard. it was about a couple from wales who were about to tie the knot. su pollard had a number 2 chart hit with the programme's song title 'we're starting together'. does anyone know what happened to this couple, if they are still together? it would have been married now for just over 20 years.

The programme aired in 1986 and there was a follow up programme years later and the couple were still together. I actually danced with Su Pollard in Rockies in Manchester to the theme tune of that song-----ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

wow, wonder if they are still together now. what a song eh? i was looking up bill buckley who is now on lbc radio also well known for being on thats life with esther rantzen. apparently he wrote this song.
