I've won the lottery!!!!!!!!!!!
12 Answers
I have received an email informing me that I have won 552,000 pounds. The email is from THE UK NATIONAL LOTTERY.
Please forgive me for being cynical but I am assuming this is a scam to get me to send off money for transfer fees of winnings .etc.
I have replied to the email expressing my doubts, and a few other things besides!!!!
Anyone else any experience of this?
Thanks

spammers send out millions of emails (it's done by robots); most of the addressees won't exist but a few will. By replying, you confirm that your address is live. So never reply to this sort of thing, even out of curiosity. Having said that, it probably won't make any difference; but if they want to target you, they now know where you can be found.
PS if you actually have won, you might like to invest some of your funds in this handy tax-avoidance scheme I have going...

Between Nigerian widows and UK Lottery wins I have more money than I can handle in sveral lifetimes. If only I had opened a bank account and sent the Swiss code to these scamsters.....
