Didn't really know of / like David Tennant but he has kinda the right temperament for playing The Doctor.
John Simm should fit right in as the master. Wonder if he's gonna grow the goatee back lol.
Surprised The Doctor didn't jump on the back of the TARDIS as it de-materialised like Capt Jack did earlier in the episode.
Did anyone else notice the huge array of stuff in the control room that The Doctor said he knew nothing about one minute and next minute he knew all about it.
I'd reckon it's really a basic time travel machine.
Wonderful episode , very sneaky of Russell T. Davies to say he didn't like the character of The Master and wasn't going to revive him , but all the better for the surprise factor.
Can't wait till saturday.
Comparing Drs is a bit like comparing sportsmen from different generations. Each were good in their day but would they have been as good in the current conditions. I personally like DT as Dr Who but the real difference is the very high standard of the writing and the fact the sets don't wobble anymore.
The writers would I am sure have written scripts to get the best performances out of the current cast.
I'd like to know how The Master got to become Professor Yana in the first place. The last time we saw The Master he was falling into the eye of harmony in the TARDIS in the McGann TV Movie. How did he escape and what happened next. And how did he get to regenerate into Yana when he had used up all his regenerations and had to resort to hijacking bodies.
I love this stuff.
And Tennant is terrific.
