Good idea but poor script. It was more a fantasy. Impossible to bounce back so quickly - she even had a catheter in ( we were shown shot of full bag) but managed to walk about without it being removed! Its going to be 5 more weeks of flash backs.
Plus you cant talk straight away either

yes, 4getmenot i thought that aswell about the talking, i mean it was just weird.

and lyn i thought that about the catheter, she just seemed to get up, get dressed and go chasing after that bloke!! it was like she had just been out on a heavy night the night before!!!
Load of old tosh
4get is still alive then lol
just about :-)
Darn I missed it.

it really wasnt that great. it was entertaining but that was about it!!!
I thought it was a bit "lame".

Now I'm no expert in what it's like to come out of an 18-year long coma, but.............................the lead character seemed to adapt to her "new" world/surroundings very quickly, i.e. she didn't seem to be curious as to how her neighbourhood had changed or the new types of cars, technology, etc that she was experiencing.

Also (when talking to Pete at the cafe), she seemed to think that she had just woken up from a nights sleep, but didn't seem curious as to why Pete looked completely different, i.e. older!

Not sure if I'll watch the rest of the series.
I agree, it was very disappointing.
It showed you her looking at people with headsets etc, and she won't have known what they were, but she didn't question anything.
Also, I dont think her clothes would still have fit her - would they?

The concept is good, but I don't think its going to live up to expectations, perhaps next week will be better!
She woke up and could speak right away?

She could walk? Wouldn't her muscles have wasted away to nothing?

What happened to her "bag"?

Didn't seem to notice that her boyfriend had aged by 18 years?

On the other hand didn't recognise any of her other friends.

Pants.
That's what you get for ITV. I found that programme very annoying!! =D
So I take it that it was a good idea, but poorly executed?

as if the mother would have got her up out of bed and allowed her to lock herself in the bathroom!
what if shed collapsed again?

a great idea, but not enough reference to the sorts of things you would be amazed at.

even if you were transported backwards instead to 1988 yourself now, you would show more interest and amazement at seeing the things you have already seen in the past, let alone seeing things that are totally brand new.

i know they are limited with time but it woul dhave been good to have more small incidences of her reactions... at least initially, they could then get on with telling the story - after all the whole crux of her situation is that 18 years has passed....to only ackowledge the change in people is cutting out a big part.
Too far fetched for me.
Does anyone know what the song is from the advert?

It's kinda 80s rock sounding,
and it's got a girl screaming in it?

=/
