Marine Biology TV Show on ITV in the 1970/80's

Can anyone remember the name of the Marine Biology TV series that was aired on ITV in the 1980's? They were 30 minute shows focusing on difference types of fish which I think were filmed in Japan and and produced in US. The show has a quirky theme tune. No one I've spoken to can remember it but it was a fantasic show.

There was a show with Jacques Cousteau, don't know if that was it remember watching it as a child, but can't remember exactly when it was on
