although iv'e checked on occasion the web sites of these two talented people (and yes they are) so far for all the promises there is nothing forthcoming from them,lost and forgotten by Cowell and gang .
it seems shane and leonas' dreams have been well and truly shattered,too late now to hope for a chart entry from them, the cd / download kids have moved on.

Leona, I have no idea what she's up to, last I heard she was in LA 'recording'

I think its also true to say they are lost and forgotten generally by the people that voted for them..The problem is on those kind of programmes its not too long before you either disappear or end up being in a musical somewhere as has happened to virtually all of them..always dreaming of a comeback but never quite making the grade.I went to see Steve Brookstein on his UK tour..the tickets had been reduced to half price and he just about managed to sell 300.he arrived late and the whole thing was a shambles..I fear this will happen to Shane and Leona. I also belive that stars have to have personality ..that cetrain something which is missing in both Leona and Shane. ..Bland..

Don't tell me people are finally getting it. The only people who really benefit from X Factor type shows are Simon Cowell and his ilk. They make a big fuss of the winners and turn them into stars, then leave them to fend for themselves so they can concentrate on the next bunch of hapless hopefuls. Girls Aloud and to a lesser extent Will Young seem to have bucked the trend, but it's no wonder that generally these contestants have fleeting fame and then disappear, once Cowell/Walsh/whoever gets a new toy to play with.

Andy Warhol once said that everyone is famous for fifteen minutes. I wonder who is getting Shane and Leona's other ten.

with these programmes they put out a single which is popular then they seem to disappear off the face of this earth. then a few years later their having a 'comeback' tour/album whatever which wouldn't of been needed if they hadn't disappeared completely
