Did they ever get to whitedear park?

Oh yes they did! Well, apart from the pheasants, hedgehogs, rabbits, and all the other deaths.However once there they encountered a blue wolf called scar who was a bit of a bar steward. Other than that all was well!

but wasnt there a second series, what was that all about if they'd got where they wanted to be. I do remember Mrs Pheasant getting run over. Tee Hee

My favourite death was always Mr Pheasant who was shot after becoming paniced by the sight of his wife roasted and served up for lunch! Harsh times.

yeah the second series was all about the battle with the blue foxes once they got to whitedeer park, and about their kids, they all had children once they got there.

ah I see. Yes I think pheasants were hunted. maybe it was hedgehog that got run over

The hedgehog deaths made me (and my 4 year old) cry.

Didn't the female hedgehog stay with the tired and scared male hedgehog so they got run over together?

Ha ha, yes, it was something very very moving like that! although I think it was the other way round, the male hedgehog had always been the scared on but while they were crossing the road the female froze and the male hedgehog got brave and went back to be with her and them squashed. (Jeesh, i know far too much about the programme, and I'm sure I was too old to be watching CBBC at the time!

Old? you're telling me. I was having nightmares already as little Pippa number one was quite young and had not long witnessed the death of Mufasa in 'The Lion King'.

What we mums have to suffer ~ exposing the innocents to such heartache!

I can remember a bit where the kestrel had to carry toad ovrer a busy road in his mouth.

I used to watch this with Teen Boo when she was little, and i'm almost ashamed to say this now, but I hated it!

Quite frankly I'd have been quite pleased if the whole lot of them had got squished on a motorway and the end of episode one.

There was a third series, where White Deer Park became invaded by rats as well...or so my daughter informs me! Can't say I ever watched it myself...

The second series was quite heart wrenching with the deaths of badger, mole and several foxes!
