AV button on remote control

Hi, does anybody know how to change the AV channel on your TV without a remote control? my remote is broke and cant play video games or anything without it. please help!

Depends on your TV, but normally there are buttons hid behind a flap. Why not get an "all in one" pre-programmed remote?

already tried a universal remote and it musnt have been compatible with the tv so had to return it. also the only buttons on the actual tv are the volume and programme change buttons but that doesnt let you switch to av either. am at my wits end and dont wanna have to buy a new tv, the one i have is only 2 yrs old. its a Bush tv, dont know the model.

I do not know if this will work for you but try having whatever piece of AV equipment you want to use turned on before you turn on your television. when you turn on your television with the on button it might just go straight to the AV equipment . Our
television does that with the video or DVD player.

What is the make and model of your tv? I guarantee there will be small buttons somewhere.

Check ebay, you should be able to get a replacement remote for less than a fiver
