Have there ever been any physically disabled people on the programme? That chair would seem like Everest to me, so was just wondering if it is always used.

Although I can't recall seeing any disabled people on I'm sure they would have some dignified method of assisting anybody on to the chair who couldn't manage by themselves. Don't forget the show is heavily edited, when they ask the fastest finger question the table and chairs aren't there, yet seconds later when he says "Lets play..." and walks them over, hey presto, they're there!

I'm sure I read somewhere that a single show takes something like three hours to make.

There have been some real fatties on there before who had considerable trouble not only climbing into the seat, but fitting their frame into it. You'd think they would make some kind of allowance for this sort of thing.
"You'd think they would make some kind of allowance for this sort of thing." Like a weight restriction to stop non-PC viewers from tuning out? Yeah, what a great idea! Who would cheer for a fatty who just won a million when we all know the extra cash would just add to his/her weight problem? Surely the great unwashed public would cheer louder for a skinny unemployed halfwit than an obviously well-to-do bloater with a plummy accent! Am I being deliberately controversial or am I being brutally honest? Errr. even I'm not sure about that one lol
