What about The Bridges of Madison County (Clint Eastwood & Meryl Streep)? That's a great one for a rainy Sunday afternoon, with a box of chocs, a bottle of wine & loads of tissues!! :) K

4get, in the film I cry at a different bit than you would expect from the book.

Right near the end of the film when Shug Avery is singing gets me every time. You have to watch it if you can get hold of a copy. Even my hubby nearly started; I think that was a first as far as films go.

Oh, also, Million Dollar Baby. I did not see that coming.
