Channel 4+1 at the expense of Film 4+1?

Our freeview box seems to be picking up Channel 4+1 now but we've lost Film 4+1. I know which I'd rather have, the latter. Also we seem to have lost ITV 2 but still have ITV+1. Could this be a problem with the freeview box itself?

I have also lost Film4 +1, but have ITV2 and ITV2 + 1.

Try retuning your Freeview Box. It worked for me.

I did a rescan on my digibox last night and it appears that 4+1 has replaced Film4 +1.

I rescanend mine and now get both.

I thought it was just me! although I have lost MORE4 to C4+1 and now MORE4 is on E4! So I have to wait an hour to watch anything on E4 and watch it on E4+1!! I have rescanned loads of times waiting for C4+1 to appear but it says there are no new channels!
I'm hoping it is just a glitch and they will all smooth themselves out. But it does say on the advert that C4+1 will be on C13 which is MORE4! So not sure if I will lose that altogether or not!
So much for technology eh? lol ;o)

Wingnut, More4 has moved to 14 (previously E4) and E4 is now on 29.

They've moved on the sky platform too - all the Ch4 channels are together now.

Did a re-scan and got ITV2 back but still don't have Film 4+1 which is annoying because I actually find the film times better than that of the ordinary Film 4 channel.

No-one has film 4+1 anymore - it doesn't exist now.

Hi! I re-tuned my box last night and have now got the channels on the correct numbers. I had to completely re-tune rather than just add new channels which is what I was originally doing not realising they were just shifting channels around onto existing ones.

I think there should be a campaign started cos you can record a tv show and watch it after but its not really the same for films. I think 10 o'clock is a better time to watch a film than 9. But now that's what we're stuck with. Boo - hiss.

Lucky you if you still get Film4 & have the choice of watching the films at all I say! For us poor things in weak digital areas we relied on Film4 +1 simply because Film 4 couldn't be picked up.

So, lets think, do I want a channel of repeats an hour after the original or do I want movies? Obviously the powers that be have decided but there are thousands if not millions in the same position as me not happy to have lost the only version of Film4 we had...grrrrr!
