Does any one know how Kates father died. Was it a heart attack or did he kill himself some how, or what?

He had a Liver complaint through excessive drinking (he was an Alcoholic) but ultimately died from a heart attack.

no, he killed himself! im asuming you mean the kate who was married to phill. that is why she was so upset because she thought it was her fault because she turned off her phone when he was ringing her!
