Spears investigated over child abuse claims

Britney Spears is being investigated after her erratic behaviour has caused concerns over her suitability as a mother. Her ex-husband has allegedly handed over a number of witness details who can apparently testify about the pop star's worrying behaviour. What do you think? Is her erratic behaviour when out partying something completely different to how she probably acts around her children? Or is her behaviour demonstrating mental weakness which could cause concern for her children?

I think she needs help. As most of us know it's not easy being a parent. Not that I'm condoning her behaviour but she went through a nasty split with her ex she's in the limelight 24/7. She needs a break with a bit of help with herself such as counselling and someone to make her aware that she has 2 children that she is responsible for. Too many famous people have kids just to dump them on the nearest person possible. Saying that she has been behaving like this for quite a while so why didn't someone do something earlier???

This is simnply another aspect of the 'celebrity' culture - where we all get to wring our hands and tut about a young woman who is obviously far too rich and 'out there' to be a decent parent.

I would believe nothing of waht the media told me on this issue - and lewt the courts, who rely on factual evidence make a decision.

Because I don;t know Ms. Spears personally, and have never seen her except through a camera lens, I am utterly unqualified to make any observations about her suitability as a parent.

So in short AB - no comment.

i think you'll find her ex partner, is looking for custody of the kids, so he's going to say anything to make her look bad.
