Token Black man oscar......although factually incorrect I thought his portrayal in the film Hurricane was far better.

I agree with sft but given black actors have utterly been overlooked for years i applaud the awarding of it anyway. Beyond the race issue they sometimes do that if someone is about to 'peg' it or to rectify a serious omission from previous years.

Rubbish, it was a great performance in a great film, who cares what colour he is, the guy can act!!!!!!!

One of the worst film I have ever seen. He deserved an Oscar for having to deliver lines that were extremely badly written.
