Does anyone know the exact address in Southeast London where Frankie Howerd lived as a child? I know he went to Shooter's Hill School, but did they live on Shooter's Hill? There is a spooky reason for asking which I shall reveal when I know the answer!

Although he was born in York, Frankie Howerd lived at 19 Arbroath Road, Eltham from the age of 2.

Dear Woodentop Thanks for this answer, and sorry it took so long to reply. Now for the explanation: I used to live on Shooters Hill, quite near the school and one morning I woke up knowing Frankie Howerd was dead. It was as if I'd had a dream or something about it. When I turned on the radio I heard on the news that Frankie Howerd had died. I could never work out why I should have known before hearing about it until I read a book which said that people sometimes return to a place they have a metaphysical connection with when they die. I thought he might have lived in or near my house, but Eltham is a couple of miles away. Hmm... strange... thanks anyway for this - very useful.
