Do advertising firms have to state that they are usaing a look alike or impersoantor to endorse the product they are selling?

If a person endorsed something thats fine but if YOU are led to believe that they have and they havent then that's wrong.
Even on Surprise Surprise they stated in the credits that it was Kate Robbins singing the theme tune and not Cilla Black - to me I'd have thought they would want to hide the fact !!
