How many viewers agree with me that this was a shameful waste of magnificant photography? We were not told the location of many of the shots and the script sounded like a primary school afternoon in the countryside. Not helped by Alan Titchmarsh's wooden presentation.

Am I alone in hoping that something can be done to lift the remainder of the series? Or is it already in the can?

Thank goodness. But why on earth Titchmarsh? This needs an Attenbrough.

Brilliant photography and beautiful land/seascapes, but I learnt nothing from the programme. The mantra seemed to be, unique wildlife due to our unique geography! Well knock me down with a feather.

I do hope that the commentary begins to speak to us as adults in the following episodes; or does the BBC think that only schoolchildren will benefit from learning about native flora & fauna? Either that or TV is going the way of the cinema, where special effects replace plot to wheel them in.

OOps I've just had a 'Points of View' moment ....and I live nowhere near Tunbridge Wells.

Perhaps they should have used Griff Rhys Jones...his series was brilliant.

I'm certain that it's already in the can and will have been for ages.
