Eastenders - now on

Has anyone else taken a break from the utter crap that Eastenders is tonight? Complete and utter tripe - BBC have excelled themselves with this rubbish, Totally unbelievable plot with Ian emerging from his confinement looking fit as a fiddle - electric lights working in the derelict building - what utter bilge it is.

So Lucy escaped and although it took them a while to get there on the tube, she was back in minutes with Jane. It ends with a shot - but who cares.

I used to watch Eastenders regularly but I haven't seen it now since the Phil/Stella wedding fiasco so I don't know what's happening any more.
It used to be a bit more realistic but it's just got more and more sensational and I can't be bothered with it any more.

I did feel sorry for steven, all those years in NZ and still he sounds like an essex boy tut not even a 'life is like a box of fluffies' comment.

I watch it on and off. but to be honest i prefer Coronation Street it's got a thread of humour through it .

I watched it for the first time in a few weeks. I was shocked by myself fancying Ian Beale with a beard, I think he looked sexy and that really troubled me.

I watched it last night too - what a load of tripe, I agree with my mum who hopes that somehow the bullet ricocheted of a light fitting and took them all out. I spent the entire episode saying "But it wouldn't happen like that would it?!". Most of all, aside from Lucy finding a miraculous short-cut on her way to find Jane - did she not consider contacting the police at any point? Did Jane not consider contacting the police after Lucy found her? Corrie is so much better, I even cried last night when Cilla left (am blaming my hormones though!).

Yes, Ian did look a bit nice haha ;-)
