How is the scoring decided on this prog?

Very sad question I know, but it puzzles me ;-)

As I understand it (not very well) points are awarded for answers which are interesting and taken away for everything else.I suspect that there is no formal arrangement for awarding points and that the results are made up.

10+ points are rewarded for an interesting answer, or maybe a point for a correct answer.

However 10 points are deducted if anyone mentions an obvious answer that is wrong, which is usually Alan Davies.

As for this new series I think Stephen Fry gives a certain amount of points per show for the 'Elephant in the Room Bonus'.

overall..... its dependant on Stephen Fry on how many points are rewarded/deducted.
