Im a newcommer to "House" and I think its absolutely fantastic Hugh Lawrie is brilliant .Can I ask two questions
1. what actually happened to his leg
2. As the brilliant doctor he is ,why cant he heal himself?

1. he got shot in the leg
2. he suffered nerve damage because he wouldent let them amputate and suffered from necrosis of the muscle and nerve tissue

not being medical i think thats what they meant...great show...totaly hooked , as with greys anaomy and scrubs as well....j

Absolutley addicted to House fantastic show, just to add to vimes answer as you watch more episodes can't remember if series 1 or 2 you'll get to learn more about his 'bad' leg and see how it happened, going to rent series 3 next week & lock myself away with the DVD for a bit i think!
