I saw that too but thought that perhaps it came from a shadow cast by his glasses. I too did not see the start.

He was demonstrating how some woman had said how to look good after a heavy night before - if that makes sense!
You exfoliate with a special glove, then put on foundation, then lip gloss - all of which he managed very well. Then you add mascara - which he couldn't do very well - hence the black eyes!

I don't know why the One Show do this to their guests. James Taylor was on the other night and they did a thing about pantomime which went straight over his head being an American. It makes the show tacky!
