I am trying to get an episode of this is your life from 1985 as my grandfather features in a programme and i have been trying everywhere to get a copy. I recently saw a post from someone else trying to get a copy from 1985 as their grandfather also featured in an episode.....if your out there did you have any luck??? or if anyone can help!!!!!

I imagine it will have been on BBCTV in those days, and the Beeb have a dept for archive film which I think is called something like Programme Resource Services - ring 0208-743 8000 and ask. Alternatively, This Is Your Life is owned by a particular prtoduction company - can't recall the name but you can probably find out thru a search engine.
