On Sunday`s Heartbeat, I was intrigued by that really high bridge over a river. As it came into view though it must be a rather impressive railway but then as story unfolded it seemed to be just a narrow track. Anyone know anything about it or similar in that area?

Could be the Ribblehead Viaduct

It's probably this one at Whitby. I've walked over it a few times http://www.pbase.com/clements/image/45024782
It's the viaduct at Whitby. It used to be a railway line before the Beeching cuts. It's a nice walk as long as you can avoid the piles of dog poo everywhere.
