itv video player

My video player was working OK about a fortnight ago but all I get now is a black box where the player should be. I have contacted various ITV links explaing the problem but never no replies. Can anyone help as being a wrinkly I need all the help I can to sort things out. Thanks for any help in advance.

Apologies for not properly understanding the question.

If you mean you are getting a black screen instead of the programme you have recorded or the tape you are trying to play, check all the cables are still firmly fixed in place. Give them a good push.

Is power getting through to your video player? Has the fuse gone?

Yeah, the question isn't very clear. Part of it indicates being a normal video, part of it seems to indicate you mean your online player. Which is it?. All I can suggest if it's the latter is that you reinstall any software you used originally.

Sorry about not making the question more clear, that's the trouble with being a wrinkly. Yes, it is the ONLINE PLAYER I was referring to if that helps Do you have to register to be able to use the video
