Matthews whose romance with ex-EastEnder Marc Bannerman made headlines when they appeared in I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here experienced drug and alcohol problems years ago. Her family are concerned that her relationship with Bannerman will take her back to her problems again. The couple drink daily it has been reported, Bannerman is known to enjoy a good party. Seven years ago Matthews was a famous as Amy Winehouse for her wild ways she would often collapse on stage and had to check into rehab to sort herself out. Do you think she will end up in rehab if she continues to carry on drinking? With a new love on the scene she is happy at the moment, but what if they have a row or split? Will she be able to stay away from drink and drugs?

AB Ed, you created a "Celebrity Gossip" section for chat such as this. Why do you not post your own "questions" under the appropriate heading?
Plenty of people drink everyday (I do) without having to check into rehab. I don't take drugs, but plenty of people take them everyday as well. Doesn't mean your life automatically falls apart.

If Cerys Matthews needs some free publicity in the future, a sojourn into rehab might just do the trick, other than that, I don't see why she cannot just get on with it like the rest of us.
'The couple drink daily it has been reported, Bannerman is known to enjoy a good party.'

OMG, they are doomed, doomed I tell you.
I don't remember Cerys ever being as notorious as Amy Winehouse.

SteveD, it makes a change from the weekly Britney question Ed keeps posting.
Blimey , who cares?

I usually hate people making "who cares" comments but I mean really , who cares?
I blame the parents.

If they didn't go harping on about this, we could all carry on our days without a care in the world.

Carry on Drinking, sounds like it could be a good film. I wonder if Babs Windsor would be interested.
Oh my God! I'm so worried... and I believe everything I read in the papers...
Rather than just saying 'who cares', perhaps we should indulge AB Asks into some dialectic debate....

Why SHOULD we (the general AB populus) care?
