Snooker

Did anybody feel like crying for Peter Ebdon to-day when he almost made a 147 break and missed an easy black with only 1 red to go? He was in a bit of a state. I felt really sorry for him as I love snooker myself but due to illness can no longer play myself.

Personally I like the guy. I know he plays a bit slow at times which can be frustrating, but his shot choice gives the game a bit of flare.
Also I think he is a bloody nice chap in interview. He is a humble man and being in a band etc is probably more rock and roll away from snooker than Ronnie or Alex Higgins ever was.
As for the 147, yes bad luck.
But my heart really goes out to Ken Doherty when his missed the final black. And Doherty is a real gentleman too.
