60's television programe

Can anyone remember a programe from the 60's. American, a family loose their parents, the 2 eldest chlidren, called Kathy and Clay, I think look after the other childen, that's all I can remember. Thanks

The Monroes? Ben Johnson played Sleeve and Ron Soble played an Indian, Michael Anderson Jnr was the ekdest son and Barabra Hershey was the sister. They were pioneers and lost their parents in a river crossing i think and had to build their own log cabin

it used to be on on a Monday Night at 8pm, in glorious black and white. I watched every episode, then it was replaced with Iron Horse I think, with Bob Random and him out of wells fargo, dale Robertson was it? the BPS &D was the name of the railroad, blimey the things you remember!
