I have just watched the very well acted scene about the death of baby Danial, I found it very true to life, I lost a baby boy in 1971 due to cot death he was he was 3 month old although very well acted I found it brought back very sad memories

i have also been watching it and crying my eyes out, how well did they all act, it was a credit to them, and the unimaginable pain for anyone who like yourself has gone through it.

Hi yes it has been so sad like yesterday, I am now a member of SIDS.Reply to cruella Whinger has know started to eat thanks to the tablets at least I think they are giving her the appetite. I am sitting here cuddling her with tears rolling down my cheeks, silly moo I am but oh I miss my Jamie

I can't see why it was necessary for the story for baby Daniel to die.- just to sad for words. I am still sobbing.
I feel sorry for the police at times like that, they have some awful jobs sometimes.

It is the worst thing when you have found your baby dead then the police come to question you, I had an even worse time my exhusband was called home from work as my baby died morning, when he arrived home his first words to me were quote what have you done to him, we never got over his death, we did have another baby boy 3 yrs later, we had 4 children 5 including Jamie, we were devorced 2 yrs after my youngest son was born

I too thouht that it was incredibly well acted, and was crying. It was heartbreaking, and I feel for anyone who has gone through "cot death".

I was out doing grocery shopping and came home to find Mrs Octavius in a heap of tears and tissues. I managed to find out why, so I presume it must have been quite realistic.

Laural (as an actress) has gone up in my esteem as she acted extremely well and not once did she go overboard and make it unbelievable!!

my wife was in tears and a few occasions i had to hold back on the emotion.

it was a very good episode.

I saw the advert for it and just seeing that upset me (Laurel coming down the stairs), I did want to watch it but as I am 8months pregnant I thought it best if I give it a miss.

to Jillius, my ex said it in a accusung way because as I said we seperated because there were always accusations especialy when our youngest son was born, he would say things like dont burn him with the bath water, dont hold him like that, and he started to have the babies cot on his side of the bed, he realy did not trust me, even though Chris was my 5th baby and even though there had been a post mortom and there was not a blemish found on Jamies body. I had a nervouse breakdown 6months after the baby died, wether or not this made my ex feel that he could not trust me I don't know, but what I do know is this, I would not hurt a hair on my children or any child. They are to precious.
I do wish I had not watched the programme now as it affected me quite badly even though it has been almost 37yrs, it is true you never get over the death

I must say there is more heart ache to come I remember going shopping seeing other babies, mothers holding their babies and trying to exsplain to my 3 older chidren what had happened to their brother, my daughter was 4 at the time she would choose what clothes he would wear each morning and that particular morning as I said he died approx 6am she was with me when I found him dead and she asked who had made him die, what do you say to a little 4 yr old girl.
I am sorry I have gone on about my situation but it has been along time since I have been able to talk to people about it. I thankyou all for reading

Hello west ham fan. I never watched it, I know it is only tele, but it upsets me, I am sitting here 6ft tall 17 stone lump of a bloke and I have tears in my eyes, I can't find any words to say that can comfort you, but if there is a God I hope your little one is sitting on his lap and is happy forever more, god bless, take care, Ray xx
