What a farce ... Violet giving birth in Corrie. It only took five minutes from start to finish, the acting was absolutely awful. Does anyone else think Corrie is the worst its ever been ? What with pigface Carla and Moaning Michelle with those two awful teenage morons ... I think it is the beginning of the end of Corrie. Lets have some new storylines !! And get Carla and Michelle out of it. I think the chef - Jack's grandson - went to the same stage school as Rosie Webster going by his facial expressions ... awful.

I posted a similar question recently and I agree
Violet wanted a home birth but ther didn't seem
to be any arrangements for a midwife visiting etc
but conveniently there was one available in the
Rovers, it was undignified and cringeworthy

Liz Macdonalds face when Violet was giving birth, was she having a stroke, was it botox or was she taking a dump?
The two episodes on Friday covered from early morning to late afternoon, I think Violet had actually been in labour since that morning but was so inexperienced she didn't recognise it

I definitely want this baby swap story brought to an end, it's ridiculous now at this stage
You have probably missed them smurfchops, but there have been quite a few postings on here lately which echo your comments - even one from myself. I completely agree with you. I used to love Corrie, it was a good half hours relaxation for me, with good acting, good story lines and a nice smattering of humour. I don't care if I miss it now!!

Something has to happen soon to improve it.

'pig face' Carla. Actually I can see it (especially around the nose). However, I shall now hide as I know the fellas think she is wonderful. Sorry Andy if you see this!!
oh it made me laugh.
The barstaff all looking on, and at the 'business end' too.

You would think most normal people would have the decency to leave the room! It was very funny though. How on earth did she manage to give birth to such a 'huge' lump in so short a time. Someone mentioned on an earlier thread that you are meant to pop a cushion up your jumper when you act as pregnant, not the whole sofa!!
lol, and did anyone notice her bump was square?
hahaha....this has cheered me up!
I used to think Violet was ok but this pregnancy has been so badly acted that I'll be glad to see the back of her...she's been miserable & whiny the whole time, waddled for Britain & considering the amount of people who stay there the Rovers must have more rooms than the Hilton so why she had to give birth on a banquette beggars belief!!

yep, let's get shut of Carla & Michelle & give Steve a girlfriend with a bit of spark...but pleeeeease, never, ever bring Karen back.....
I agree, the baby swop story should be brought to an end - if Alex has an allergy, let him not have his epipen with him, then he can be killed off!

Other people I would get rid of: the family who run the chippy/kebab place, David and his girlfriend, Lauren, Paul, Rosie. I like Carla and Michelle (must be the only female on the planet who does!)

What mother in their right mind would allow David to act as he is - moving his girlfriend in without even asking, taking over the place - Gail must be a bit thick, so she can go as well!!
In fact, lets get rid of everybody except (in my humble opinion) Steve McDonald, Eileen Grimshaw, Jack Duckworth, Tyrone, Molly, Sean, Amber and Sophie.

Oh and Gail and Sally can stay so I can moan about them (and at least they can act!).
Maybe I am wrong but I thought Violet and Maria got pregnant at about the same time - yet Violets had her baby and Matria is still as flat as a pancake!

To me the continuity in Coronation Street is very bad. at the moment.

Also, I thought the same about the Rovers - where does everyone sleep? Theres Liz, Vernon, Michelle, Steve, Amy, Ryan and now Alex.
i'm due to give birth myself on saturday if that happens or not is something only my little girl will decide. if i have a quick labour as violet did i'd be happy but somehow i don't think that's going to be poss..
I totally agree with all the comments posted - in fact while I was watching it I thought 'this will definitely be on AB'. The fact they were all stood behind the bar watching beggars belief. Even Vernon! Poor girl, no dignity left. Poor show.
Good luck 24fan and all the best for Saturday - hopefully a quick birth - my first was a very long labour but a very quick birth.
