Anyone remember this 80's micky take on 'The Professionals'?? Who starred in it, and is it available.

The name of the series is 'The Bull Hitters' but with an 's' at the beginning of hitters.

Wasn't this part of "The Comic Strip Presents.....", on Channel 4.

No, it wasn't part of The Comic Strip Presents series, as Keith Allen apparently didn't want it to be. It was a good mickey take of The Professionals with Robbie Coltrane playing Commander Jackson, the boss of Allen (Bonehead) and Richardson (Foyle), and ended with the two secret agents having a full on gay snog. Elvis Costello has a walk on part. It was available on video for a time, and I saw a copy in a charity shop recently. Some of the letters in the title were asterisked for the benefit of Channel Four viewers of a delicate sensibility... It was directed by Stephen Frears. Good show and worth seeing.
