Nicolette Sheridans character tried to hang herself but i think she gets saved by somebody.

Edie Britt (played by Nicolette Sheridan) was seen hanging towards the end of the last episode of the most recent UK series.

It's been aired everywhere else already though so if you want to know what happens then check wikipedia, if you don't want to know then don't check it and just watch on Weds!

But, either way, you're right - one of the girls girls did attempt suicide at the end of the last series.
